In the spring of 2020, brothers Dan and Dave purchased their very first vacation rental home located in the heart of New Smyrna Beach, FL. At the time, their goal was to turn this investment into a profitable income stream with the assistance of a local experienced vacation rental management company. In their search for a management company, they quickly learned that many services lacked support and guidance with respect to setting up their vacation rental for success. Others had far too high commission rates and fees, while all lacked the full feature-set that adequately fit their needs. They believed that vacation rental management services should be simple to enlist and should be full-featured by leveraging the power of technology at an affordable price; services that should be tailored to the needs of the property owner while also delivering a world-class stay experience to their guests. Therefore, the idea for Fun Coast Rentals was one born from necessity. Fun Coast Rentals now seeks to disrupt the vacation rental market in New Smyrna Beach by offering top-tier management services and tech, with a lower fee structure.
